This 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J seems to be the symptom of one of those cars that is stuffed in the corner for time and they have realised that it had better be sold as they will never get round to finishing the project. It comes with a replaced original spec. 455ci. engine that is said to be running with the original four-speed transmission all ready to go.

The engine is said to have been rebuilt with the original top end and has been tested on the dyno. So at least the powertrain is good to go. It’s hard to tell the condition of the car’s overall rust status, only showing some of the panels needing replacing. This car originally came with quite a few extras and its luxury status means that this will be an ideal project to get back in condition. Things like the walnut dash, leather seats and 8-track will eventually give a great vintage luxurious vibe.

This ride has a lot of potential and from the looks of things may come along with quite a few spare parts. For the asking price, this may just be worth a punt.
