1970 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400

One things for sure about this 1970 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400, on initial impressions it’s in fine condition with a numbers matching powertrain.
Said to be an all original vehicle, it has a 330hp 400 V8 engine, which is no RAM AIR, but you’ll be paying far more than the asking price of $28,900 for one of those.
The ad. says that the car was stored from 1989 until 2006 (no history given before this date), driven until 2010, where it had some updates (not specified) and then stored in a barn for the next six years. Now located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
It’s claimed to have only done 53,000 miles.
The interior is in fine condition with the smart wooden dash panel, which looks far more elegant than the later aluminum versions.
Seats and other interior extras look in good condition, with everything here again meant to be their original form.
The exterior’s Goldenrod Yellow is in great shape, with only a few little blemishes here and there, which are admitted in the ad. as having, ‘ small dings, and paint touch ups as well as an area on the drivers rear quarter where the original paint is worn through from buffing or maybe a tire blowout at some point in past.’ and ‘The rear spoiler and front lower valence were painted in 2007. ‘
This Pontiac has obviously had some touchups over the years, but it is mostly original and although you can get Firebirds far cheaper, this classic time capsule will at lease hold its price and you will have a fine low mileage muscle car which you can enjoy for years.
