This 1968 Plymouth GTX is said to have been stored since the 1980s, with the interior and wheels being tucked away in the previous owners house to be recently put back together and given a brush up by its present owner. It’s said to be numbers matching with a rare black painted top and comes with the original build sheet.

Base models of the original GTX went for $3,416 with a Super Commando 440 V8 an automatic transmission, such as this one. The present owner is said to have ‘Cleaned up the carb, new tank , new ECS factory correct exhaust and NOS tips.’ It’s clear that the interior has been well kept the years aAnd it is much more plush than the Road Runner, which the exterior more than resembles.

It looks are everything is in good condition without any signs of rust and with a clean engine compartment, this GTX will probably only need a brush up to make it a prized vehicle. The paint on the engine compartment looks as good as the rest of their car, which means this car has been kept in good conditions over its lifetime or it had a very good stealthy, complete respray, which is unlikely.
With just under 30,000 miles on the clock and in very good condition, this ride will serve as a great time capsule moving forward and with a nice plush interior will give a more luxurious ride than a regular Road Runner.
