1966 Ford Mustang Fastback Racing fuel injected 363 by Dana Bowers

From 1965 to 1967, the Ford Mustang stayed in its original unique shape. 1967 onwards, the Mustang started to become redesign and slowly bigger, but not necessarily more powerful.
This means that this 1966 example by Dana Bowers, is still one of the original and the best.
These images shows you Dana’s Mustang road trip, which is really where we should see these vehicles in their natural habitat, out there chewing up the roads.

‘My 1966 mustang fastback 2+2. Fuel injected Ford Racing Z363 stroker Tremec T-5z five speed. SSB front and rear disc brake conversion, Unisteer power rack and pinion steering, aero motive stealth fuel delivery system, custom TMI interior with elm burlwood inlays, custom auto sound sound system with ten disc CD changer. Used by Ford Racing at SEMA 2012 and autographed by Jack Roush, Chip Foose, Vaughn Gittin JR, Edsel Ford, Richard Petty, Rodger Pensky, David Ragan, Dave Kindig, Susan Roush, Dennis Gage and Bubba Lloyd.’

‘My 1966 fuel injected 363 five speed lives in south Florida. We took the car on a 8274 mile, 29 day, 19 state trip this past summer. South Florida out through Rocky Mountain national park, Yellowstone, Tetons, Arches National park, Route 66 in four states then back home. Here are a few pics from the trip!’
