In 1963 there were 10,594 corvette split windows made.It was built on Sept 19, 1962.
This is #53 manufactured on the second day of production. It is also the 92nd corvette made that day.This corvette is a true American icon. Everything on this corvette is 99% original. The only changes made were as follows. It was painted a dark brown in 1974.I had the car put back to its original ermine white in February 2014. The fan is a seven blade 1964 which folks would change back then to get better cooling instead of 5 blade fan. I had it professionally stripped back down to its rare white fiberglass and painted at GM dealership.
